Vila Olimpia Hotel

Location is excelent (close to many restaurants and supermarket; however not close to public transportation like subways as all rooms in the region); accommodation is the Mercury standard, that is really good for me. The room I stayed is a flat and not managed by the hotel, no problem at all, but a little bit different from the services from a hotel room.

Perfect location and a very easy check in and out. The hotel offers a breakfast for R$38,00; value more than fair for everything that it’s provided, very good variety of food and amazing service. Very good communication, Douglas is very responsive and helpful.

The bathroom didn’t have soap, not a big deal as there are many pharmacies and supermarkets around the corner. I also needed a fork and plate and the hotel couldn’t provide because the unit is a Airbnb; so the solution was to buy extra food from the hotel’s restaurant. Would be great if the unit could have a simple set of plate, fork, knife and spoon.

Overall the room was fine. It's a bit odd because it is in the Mercure hotel but the "apartments" are managed by Booking. The room was big but a bit strange in the layout. It had a square unit in the middle of room with the fridge and a microwave on top and TV above. The room was clean.

No toiletpaper holder in the bathroom. Layout of room could be better and with more ambiance. There was one chair but enough space fir two which would have been nice. Overpriced but maybe because of Formule 1? We did not like the breakfast at all. Slimy, watery eggs, too many sweets. Coffee was not good. Very puzzled by the high rating. We only ate there once.
