Hotel Mar de Tasmània - Auto Check-in

Location was great, room was comfortable.

Check-in was very difficult. The only way we knew how to get in the hotel at all was that some other guests happened to come while we were sitting on the step trying to figure out how to check in. Then we still had to figure out how to get into our room and which room was ours. Apparently the staff communicate using WhatsApp, which was mentioned nowhere in the Booking.com information. We also had no water when we woke up, which I understand could have been out of the hands of the establishment itself, but if we had known the night before it would have been appreciated. I don't like to be negative and I understand things don't always work out perfectly, but the truth is that checking in was difficult. I don't know if this was a mistake on the Booking.com end or the hotel end.

We liked everything!! The location, staff, bright airy bedroom and terrace. Spotlessy clean!! Continental breakfast available downstairs. We travel a lot, and I'm fussy, but our stay was perfect and I would definitely book again!

The location is good to visit attractions around. There is a shared terrace outside the window.

There was no ventilation in the bathroom. It got very humid after the shower.

It would have been handy if the WiFi information would have been left inside the hotelroom. As it was, I arrived on a Tuesday and had no way of finding out what the WiFi code was, as there was no one around. The Pizzeria downstairs was closed on Tuesdays. I phoned the number given when I booked, but no one answered the phone. I left a message, asking for the WiFi code, but no one ever replied.
