Adventure Pad's by The Farmhouse Hotel

The friendly staff at check-in is the only good thing about this hotel.

I travel a lot and stay at a number of places per year. This place is run-down and in serious need of an upgrade. The carpet in the room is so filthy and old, it should have been replaced ten years ago. Anyone who rates this dump higher than 1 must be joking or hasn't experienced other good, clean accom yet. It should actually get 0 and not be on this site. I had to kill at least five cockroaches in room 15 and the first one was within five minutes of checking in. I thought it was a once-off but little did I know what to expect. I had to rush out to a function and came back very late so I couldn't inspect the place properly. The next morning I killed another four cockroaches. Breakfast is included in the price but the place is so filthy, I didn't even want to eat there. I just wanted to get out and leave. Room 15 is above the kitchen/eating area so one can just imagine what goes on below.

Vriendelijkheid en uitzicht over het water. Ontbijt was fantastisch.

Inmiddels gedateerd. Stekkerdozen door de hele kamer en douchebak was beschadigd.

The hotel facilties and the location

The Tv programs didn't work even though it was reported to reception. Bathroom tiles were extremely slippery when wet. Entry Door handle/lock very low, could maybe install a yale lock higher up on the inside of the door. Communication prior to arrival was non existent (via email) Reception understaffed as when I telephoned reception, no one answered. Information file in room outdated. (Dial 9# for reception when no phone was provided) We loved the breakfast!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer Richtung Meer sind besonders schön. Das Restaurant können wir bestens empfehlen.
