Tiemann's Hotel

We liked the location although close to the railway line, we were not bothered by the trains, but our friend travelling with us was. Plenty of parking and very nice breakfast with variety. Staff were helpful and friendly. We did not dine in the restaurant but it seemed to be very popular. The grounds around the hotel were very nice and it is close to supermarkets such as Aldi.

The rooms would benefit from air conditioning and a small refrigerator. There also seems to be a trend in European hotels to have very soft almost bean bag like pillows and they are horribly uncomfortable, the rooms should have alternative pillows readily available.

with very helpful staff, an outstanding restaurant providing a healthy and delicious dinner. Breakfast is outstanding, with a clear focus on local and sustainable products presented in a lovely way. There is lot of heart in this hotel which shows in the attitude of staff and services provided.
