Landgasthof Sonne

The bedding was very good. The restaurant food was reasonably priced and tasty.

On arrival the building was completely closed up and we had to phone them to gain access. The first room they offered us smelled strongly of smoke, the next was large, but completely soulless. The heating only managed to get the room aired, even though I asked if they could turn it up. Breakfast was the most disappointing I've ever had in Germany. Nothing was displayed in the breakfast room. Then a few slices of bread were brought out and a plate of sliced meat and cheese and half a boiled egg between two of us. I had mentioned that I was vegetarian, but the meat, cheese and egg were overlapping, which was not acceptable. This hotel is probably fine in summer, but best avoided in winter. The strong smell of bad drains in the stairwell completed the picture
