The Sun Inn

Great location as it was the HQ of the event I was at. friendly staff.

Plastic beer glasses. Saturday night was noisy but the Sun is very open about it being a late night venue. I have stayed twice before and liked the rooms at the front of the hotel more.

The breakfast was good, the bed was comfy and the staff were helpful. Stu, the new duty manager, made sure we had everything we needed.

The hotel is in the middle of refurbishment and will benefit from its completion.

Noisy room due kitchen extractor fan running all night, so couldn't have the window open for ventilation.

I loved my whole experience and I will never forget Super Sunday

Good location in the centre of town. Clean.

The bathroom door would not shut 😐 It was the hottest day of the year and as I went to bed I realised the radiator was on and couldn't be switched off. It was on in the morning too. The room was sweltering. Propped the window open with the bin. Room needs refurbishment and updating No staff on duty when I left in the morning at 7:50am, a lady also waiting to leave was advised at check in that the staff start at 8am. So pub side all locked, but there was full access to anyone to wander throughout the hotel area. Bit of a security issue there.

Breakfast , full English and plenty of it.

Currently under refurbishment so bear that in mind when you book. Otherwise its all fine. Make every effort to stay in a refurbished room .
