"Calm and homely."

La Serene is secluded and quiet. It is close to Kannur airport and good enough for a brief overnight stay.

It is so small and the one person at the reception must do almost everything. The tiny restaurant can seat about ten people.

Very clean and well maintained property. Our stay was very comfortable. It is close to Mattannur bus stand as well as the main market. Staff was very polite , well mannered and helpful. Rooms though a little small are well appointed and very thoughtful planning has been done to make them very guest friendly. Definitely staying again here if we happen to visit Kannur in future.

Parking can be a bit challenging if six or more cars have to be parked. I didn't face any parking problems because for the 2 days I stayed mine was the only car.
