Très bien placé et très fonctionnel, parfait pour un transit à Marseille avec lever tôt pour l’aéroport ! Lit confortable, chambre toute petite mais propre et douche nickel ! Parfait rapport qualité prix

Emplacement parfait à 5 minutes de l’aéroport, service de navette gratuite à l’heure, avec chauffeurs agréables, personnel de l’hôtel aimable. Literie confortable. Chambre propre. Petit déjeuner correct

Seulement le manque d’infos à la réception pour se restaurer le soir (arrivée après 22h): heureusement le chauffeur de la navette nous avait dit que nous pourrions nous faire livrer

L’emplacement, l’accueil

My wife and I spent 3 nights here on a visit to Marseille and Toulon. I chose this hotel because of its reviews, a reasonable cost per night, and because we had a very early flight back to the UK and this hotel is near the airport and offers a free shuttle. On the plus side, the included breakfast is excellent. Lots of choices, fresh croissants, very good coffee, and tables by the pool. The double bed is very comfortable and larger than normal. The pool area is very pleasant and well equipped. The hotel brand prides itself on being environmentally friendly and there was lots of evidence to support this. There are many ways to entertain guests in the common area; eg fussball and mini pool. The staff are very friendly as long as you understand the French “penchant” for sticking to the rules: (example below).

However if you’re planning to book here are some things to consider: 1. Make sure your room plumbing is working well. Our room #5 had a toilet that didn’t flush properly and was blocked after every use. I reported this to management after our first night but nothing was done. 2. The shower was agreeably powerful with good temperature control, but water leaked under the wall between the bathroom and the bed and created a puddle of water by the bed! Also reported to management after our first night. 3. Request a room overlooking the rear of the hotel as the noise from the adjacent highway is loud. 4. When I explored options to get to downtown Marseille, @ChatGPT found several sources that said, “Best way is from the airport. Take the advertised Free Shuttle from the hotel and then the A1 Shuttle from the airport to St Charles station.” Especially since we are older (80 years) travellers. However, Reception told me that the hotel shuttle would _only_ take me to the airport upon checkout. So the only option is to walk through an Industrial Complex to either a bus stop or the train station. Not a long walk, but inconvenient in 28° heat. That being said, when I reported about the plumbing again on Day 2, Reception offered to change my room without being prompted. So in summary, the greet hotel experience is a case of “You get what you pay for.” I am awarding it 3 of 5 stars, although with a bit of tweaking it could be so much more.
