Piscina poc accessible, molta vegetació i insectes que entraven dintre de l’allotjament, en general no es veia del tot cuidat.

Jim is a very friendly host and was helpful the whole way through the stay. His two dogs are lovely and really added to the experience. We got a free upgrade to a bigger cabina, plus some free beers, which was a very nice touch. The free bikes and snorkelling equipment were also a great bonus, and we even swapped one of our books for one of his. The place is right next to the beach and surrounded by trees, so it feels peaceful and nicely removed from everything. There is loads of wildlife around too — we saw iguanas, howler monkeys, giant squirrels, and hummingbirds, which really added to the whole stay. The pool is refreshing, the kitchen is good, and it was a very easy place to switch off and relax properly. Jim will also kindly give you a lift to local attractions, amenities, or Montezuma if needed, which makes things even easier. We’d definitely come back. Sláinte!

La piscina, lo único aceptable

La atención, la suciedad, el abandono, lo precario e inseguro de las instalaciones. El propietario encendía la radio a las 6am con un volumen elevado. Las ventanas no tenían vidrio ni mosquitero. No había aire acondicionado, muy caluroso, se hacía difícil descansar. Ropa recién lavada colgada de un soga en la recepción. En definitiva, un desastre.

Our host Jim and his two dogs, Millie and Benji made us extremely comfortable. From laying in a hammock to dipping in the pool to cool off, to sitting by the beach listening to the waves, this place delivers. We have a dog at home and his dogs made us feel comfortable each time we came onto the property and while we were enjoying the patio area of our cabanas. We were looking for a quiet place to relax and Howler Monkey Hotel provided. We saw some monkeys in the neighbouring town (2 min drive) and a local invited us into his yard to see the monkeys in his yard trees. The man gave us fruit to enjoy later and we had a great time talking to him. A great way to enjoy a local town is through the people that you meet on the street. The next day the monkeys relocated to our hotel property and boy can they HOWL, but they only howled a couple of times. It was like they wanted these humans to experience what Howler Monkey Hotel is named for. If you are looking to get away from the hustle of resorts then Howler Monkey Hotel is a place to consider. It ain’t no Hilton but then if you like those type of sterile places, go there. We enjoyed our stay at Howler Monkey Hotel and have great stories to tell our friends back home. Thank you Jim. Im Dschungel mit Meerblick

Die Anlage ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, eine dringende Auffrischung und Pflege des Gartens ist nötig. Der Pool war nur halbvoll mit Wasser gefüllt, das fanden die Kinder vor allem sehr schade. Hängematte und Tisch am Strand nicht mehr vorhanden oder kaputt. Die Bilder stimmen nicht mit dem aktuellen Zustand überein. Preis-Leistung ist nicht gerechtfertigt!
