Oh Battambang Boutique Hotel

Great staff, spacious, clean rooms and lovely pool which was an oasis in dusty Battambang. The breakfast was great too. The hotel is located about 20 mins walk / 5 min tuk tuk ride from main part of time but really easy to get to.

Our AC didn’t work but we were changed to another room. It was also quite noisy one night (dogs, music, cockerels) but I think this was similar throughout the area & it was fine the following night and generally felt very peaceful.

Lovely and caring staff! Lot of smiles! Good breakfast! Green garden with a nice pool and bar opened until late evening.

As booking on last moment, we did not get rooms inside the hotel, what would have been more quiet. We got rooms facing street and that was noisy. someone was starting up a tractor for an hour one early morning right under window, Lot of dust coming from street, you could feel it under your feet in room. Though second day it was much more cleaner, Probably depends on how many days room is not used , dust from streets will settle on a floor. And yes roads outside are terribly dusty. Room overall ok. But not for the price.

The location isn't the best. But a grab tuktuk costs under USD2 to get to the centre.

Loved our stay here. The pool was the highlight for us. Gorgeous surrounded by greenery and lots of options for sun or shade throughout the day. The room was clean and felt fancy. Big comfy bed. The shampoo and shower gel smelt amazing! Another highlight was Muna the dog, so friendly and cute! Breakfast was also delicious. Easy to get a tuktuk via grab from the hotel into town, so location was perfect, nice and quiet. I dont think there was any food available throughout the day so we ordered grab delivery and had it by the pool one day, very nice. Staff were all so friendly :) Would highly recommend.

The location is not in the best area. Unfortunately there were sounds very early in the morning from a neighbouring house and sometimes bad smell in the bathroom

We stayed here for a couple of nights (after one night at La Villa in the Battambang centre) and loved our stay here. The place is very beautiful, staff is lovely and very friendly, our room on the top floor overlooking the pool was amazing, and so were the pool and breakfast and lobby areas. There are free bikes provided and we enjoyed bike riding in the countryside nearby and day trips near Battambang area. We were able to have a nice lunch in a lovely shaded green place few metres down the road which was pretty convenient, as there was only breakfast served at the hotel (and that was delicious). We had a great time here.

We were lucky that there were not many other guests and they were not noisy but I could imagine that if the place was fully booked it could get a bit noisy / the rooms were not too soundproofed...
