Hotel Kaushal Palace

Room with bathroom, with shower. Peaceful near very vibrant street. The staff was not very active, knowledgeble. Basic hotel. For 1 or 2 nights it was oké. Matras was firm but a bit sunken. Maybe needs to be renewed.

Horrible place. Avoid it. We stayed here for one night during long layover. Our experience was extremely disappointing. We booked a family room of double bed, but they gave a small room with one bed. Had to wait for about half an hour to get the room. The rooms are dusty with molds on the ceiling. The reception does not answer the phone most of the time. The staff has no clue about the bookings. For long layovers at the Delhi airport, you are better off sitting at the airport than staying at this hotel. The only silver lining was the room cleaning person who apologized for the whole mismanagement.

The location is pretty close to a metro station, there are a lot of shops around it. The staff is friendly.

Roomservice was not available a single time I tried to order. They offer breakfast on their menu but tell you you can't order before 12. There is no running hot water, you have to call the reception every time so they can turn on the boiler. They keep messing with the AC from the frontdestk, you can expect to be calling them constantly to turn it back on. That was anoying as hell.
