Ahaura Hotel

The owner was very welcoming, despite it being fairly late into the night. She showed me the facilities and welcomed me to help myself to any food I would like that night, or for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. If you're international like me, don't forget to flip the power switch above the stove before lighting the burner. I had to have someone show me how to get the stove going. I never did find the trash. The food was good!

The bathrooms were a ways away from the room. However, there is a sink in the room. It's an older building and it sits on a major intersection in town, so it gets a bit noisy in the morning hours.

A very family friendly environment. We were made to feel very welcome. Wonderful meals, friendly bar staff.

Die Eigentümerin war sehr bemüht und wir hatten nette Gespräche mit anderen Gästen der Bar.

... tatsächlich entsprach die Unterkunft weder der Beschreibung noch den Fotos.. Ich weiß nicht, wie das "Hotel" 4 Sterne bekommen konnnte: man musste durch den Pub bzw die Küche, die sehr unordentlich war, nach oben in die Räume gehen, es gab nur ein Bett und einen Sessel sowie Nachttisch/Lampe, keinen Platz für Kleidung, es gab eine Gemeinschaftstoilette für alle, die dort schliefen, vermutlich auch die Eigentümer, Köchin und Partnerin. Außerdem roch es nicht so gut, vermutlich nach Reinigungsmittel, um den Zigarettengeruch zu übertönen..
