Hotel Garzota Inn

The position near the airport, the bed was comfortable and I liked the pillow. The staff was friendly

The curtain was broken, we had to ask for a double set of bath clothes. The meal at the restaurant was poor. The sink was leaking

For a 3 star hotel, it's perfect, no complaints. Staff are very friendly, speak English. Rooms are clean, have air conditioning and mini fridge. Breakfast is good too, buffet with enough options to choose from.

My room faced the soccer fields and people were playing till 11pm, so quite noisy on that side. Rooster in the neighborhood started crowing non stop from 3am till after 7 when I left.

Across the street from the airport. It's an easy, short walk, no need for a taxi. It's also around the corner from the Alianza busetta line if you are transferring to Cuenca. There's a large grocery store you can see from the hotel's front door. Fridge in room.

It's not a luxury hotel The convenient location is what you're paying for. Neighborhood isn't "scenic," but what do you want, it's next to an airport.

The front desk staff were friendly and spoke English. Breakfast was hot and adequate. It was amazingly close to the airport. There is a bridge over the busy highway a block away(with NO steps, so you can roll that luggage over easily).

The restaurant was only open for breakfast when we were there. There are limited options for dinner without taking an Uber/taxi. I would not have felt safe walking after dark in the area.

When i booked the room, as a genius status, i had an upgrade in the room. The room wasnt available, the bathroom wasnt able. And they changed the room for another one that was good, but not the room i booked. The solved the problem changing us the room and leaving us two more hours to the the check out as courtesy.
