Location, beautiful hotel, in the process of being upgraded, loved the info in the room, Yorkshire lingo, how to make a cup of tea

"Overnight Stay"

Stopped off in Harrogate, the town of my youth and needed an hotel for the night for me and the wife. Cedar Court is a large hotel a short walk into the town and overlooking the open area of The Stray, albeit our room at the back of the building had a view of the car park. That said, fine for one night, bed was comfortable which is the main thing when you have a long drive the next day.

Just returned form a 4-day work trip to Harrogate. A lovely traditional hotel with modern decor. Plenty parking. Lovely front garden. Great decor. The restaurant is a must see! Fabulous food! The highlight for me was the staff. They were brilliant. I was so impressed I even noted their names. Fabio, Plarent, Gary, Anne and Matteo are just a few of the names that deserve praise. Professional, fun and friendly. I appreciate staff with pride and a sense of humour. It makes the difference between lifeless corporate chain hotels and the management should be proud. Chef Martin even rustled up bacon rolls to take away before breakfast service. A lovely surprise for our early departure. Top lad. There was only one member of staff that seemed abrupt and out of character. He was rather impatient and short with elderly patrons checking in for breakfast service on Wednesday morning. Don’t let one member of staff spoil a great product! Overall 5 stars!

Lovely atmosphere the restaurant is very well decorated the food was amazing .Gary is very professional makes you feel special .The room was lovely the bed very comfortable, very clean .Declan on reception ,great personality, good conversation. This our 2nd stay will be returning.
