Sehr kleiner idyllischer Ort ( Hohnstein ) mit sehr freundlichen Bewohnern. . Hotel war super. Service Personal eine glatte 10 von 10. Super nett, hilfsbereit und auf jede Frage eine nette Antwort. Frühstück ist reichlich und frisch. Für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Restaurant hat bis 19:30 Uhr warme leckere Speisen. Montags hat das Restaurant geschlossen. 3 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt ( sieht man vom Hotel aus ), etwas höher gelegen, steht ein Tisch mit 2 Bänken. Ein idealer Platz um den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Ruhe und Entspannung pur.

Leider konnte man im Restaurant nur mit Bargeld bezahlen. Das Essen mit aufs Zimmer buchen ging leider nicht. Das ist , wenn man 5-7 Tage verweilt, ein wenig nervig. Man muss immer genug Bargeld dabei haben. Aber das ist jammern auf hohen Niveau.

We upgraded to a suite and the larger room size was very spacious. Bathroom was newly renovated and well made. The view was fantastic. Good parking on site for free. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok.

Bed pillows old and uncomfortable - gave neck pains. In house restaurant bill couldn't be added to the total hotel bill. This had to be paid extra, directly to the restaurant, and could only paid in cash (no card accepted). Breakfast was ok.

"Top pick in Hohnstein"

Wonderful location and building, seems to be the top option in Hohnstein. Fantastic dinner food, would like to have had more regional wine options. Breakfast is standard German but fresh with good coffee.

Like everything else in Hohnstein, dinner is served early. We were allowed to stay on the terrace to drink after our meal but the kitchens close all over town at 7:30pm, or in our case just after with a reservation at that time. It seems to be a cultural norm and the staff were always friendly nevertheless.

The best view on the castle in all of Hohnstein! Great starting point for hiking in Sächsische Schweiz. Very tasty breakfasts.
