Hotel Huankarute

Hotel très bien situé tout près de la plage de Huanchaco où on peut profiter de la promenade sur le Malecon. Idéal aussi pour visiter les sites archéologiques tout autour de Trujillo : Chan Chan, Huaca La Esmeralda,.... Chambre grande et confortable avec petit balcon, petit déjeuner tout à fait correct. Lit confortable. Personnel accueillant et à l'écoute. On a pu même prendre le petit déjeuner alors qu'on partait très tôt le dernier jour.

Donner un peu plus de cachet à l'hôtel : chambre très sobre et sans caractère. Ajouter des prises électriques (en tout et pour tout une seule prise au sol, et une en hauteur près de la télé).

The place was clean, the view amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly. here was plenty of hot water.

One of the guests or someone who might've worked on the hotel(not sure who he was) was driving a survivalist looking truck with a 'camper' on it from Florida. There were messages on the sides of the truck for right wing christian ideology stating basically he was 'above the law' because god was on his side. When we came back from dinner, he was on his deck starting out at us and it made the hair on my neck stand up. I didn't sleep that night. I know the hotel has no control over this, but if he is part owner or somehow involved in that hotel, I didn't want to be any part of it.

Debe mejorar la entrada al hotel hay que esperar afuera de la propiedad en lo que abren la puerta, problemas con energía eléctrica, agua fría, no tienen un área de comprar agua y snacks.

Staff super friendly and helpful, they even allowed us to do an early checkin without any cost.

No AC, No fridge, facilities a little bit old and very few options for breakfest
