Peace and Quiet. Sun terrace. View from room. Parking facility. Comfortable beds.Provided rubber shower mat when asked. Very attentive staff

Only 1 real ale available. Pillow could be bigger or harder

The staff were simply amazing. So very friendly and incredibly hard working to ensure our stay was perfect for us. They genuinely cared about our experience and went all out to ensure we have the most delightful stay. This was our 2nd stay and we will most definitely be retuning in 2026. I cannot recommend The Poacher’s Inn any higher, see for yourself how lovely it is there.

"Would be lovely in summer but only go in winter if you like Iceland conditions"

The Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great. The rooms were large and clean and free parking was a bonus. Good wifi. I think it would be perfect to stay in the summer.

The rooms that were off of the main building were absolutely freezing despite having a radiator. Had to go to bed wearing outer clothes. I don't think all the rooms had this problem but definately nos1 and 2.
