Lux Hotel M - Boutique Hotel & Restaurant

The hotel is new, the room is nice, there is swimming pool and reception. Amazing was the staff (young lady on reception). She was helpful, kind and just the best. She helped us with translation to police, lost keys, she even went with other guest to hospital because their kid was sick and they didn’t speak the language.

The hotel is straight next to frequent road. You can hear it in the room and mainly by the pool where you basically lay with the cars. Location of the hotel cannot be recommend either for holiday. Dubrava and the beach Veliki Pjesak is extremely crowded. The beach is not even visible through the people and you probably won’t go there and you will have to go somewhere by car. Parking in front of the hotel cannot be recommend as well. Some truck driver ( probably from the hotel) crushed our car and if there wouldn’t be the lady from reception we wouldn’t be able even to call the police due to people who gathered around us.

We enjoyed our stay at Lux M hotel. The interior and facilities were great. The location is probably not the best as it's located by the highway but that didn't cause us a lot of troubles. Pros: free parking in front of the hotel, outdoor pool, staff was very nice and extremely helpful (the property seems to be a family run business and they really care).

Breakfast menu could be wider, the choice was very limited and almost the same every day.

After a difficult journey of about 10 hours we ended up very tired at the LUX hotel. But during the night around 4:30 - 5:00am. my wife noticed right above her head a huge insect, unknown to us, the size of a credit card (!), a huge black cockroach! Naturally we were agitated, because there is a chance that this was upon us in the previous hours without us realizing it. After neutralizing it we went down to the reception to change room. But there was no one there(!) and we had to stay up until 8:00am, me sitting in the room and my wife in the car, since there was a chance there might be more like this huge insect… After taking breakfast, we leave the hotel about 9:30am and until this time, there was still no one at the reception, even though they say “24 hour”!

Everything was excellent as usual. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Good value for money.
