Kingsknowes Hotel

My second stay at the Kingsknowes and the service, rooms and food was just as exceptional as my last visit. Thank you so much.

Warm welcome, great breakfast, and being an early riser, pre-order was offered and was ready on time. Comfy bed and good bathroom.

Breakfast was good, but the bread was standard supermarket stuff.

Bathroom needed an update

Het personeel was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prachtig gebouw, ruime kamer en het ontbijt was smaakvol.

The location, ample parking, food was good.

There was poor staff visibility. It was very late in the evening when I discovered there was no hot water. When I reported it it first thing in the morning I was informed that they were aware of it and were awaiting a plumber! I was not offered another room but given a key to use the shower in a room close by. Very inconvenient! On check out there was a grudging apology but no offer of compensation. I would also point out that we used the hotel for a family celebration and despite this the staff showed no real interest.

Breakfast was very good and substantial! Really prompt service.

Hotel is a short walk from the nearest bus stop and could benefit from improved signage.
