The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The bar is very comfortable and pleasant, and the breakfast room is lovely. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The location by the river is brilliant - you can walk to Abbotsford if you like!

The restaurant area could do with a bit more character, and my daughter would have liked a few more vegetarian options.

Excellent breakfast with good choice including vegetarian options. Great service.

No quality restaurants nearby that you could walk too as an alternative but food in the hotel was excellent.

"Different, quaint and memorable."

Wonderfully traditional hotel. Beautiful old building with turrets and oozing character. Well presented despite its age. Grear river side location.

The carpark was a bit scrappy. The approach through suburban gousing estate was odd.
