Wenn man das Hotel betritt erlebt man eine Zeitreise: Viele alte Bilder mit Goldrahmen, Polstermöbel, und der Stil auf rustikal. Keine Spur vom heutigen Tourismus. Man wird so freundlich und hilfsbereit behandelt und nur die Chefin und eine Helferin schaffen das ! Das Frühstück ist akzeptabel und der Preis liegt im akzeptablen Bereich. Ich würde jederzeit wieder einchecken !

A truly memorable stay in Klagenfurt. Cityhotel Ratheiser offers much more than just accommodation—it provides a genuine local experience. The location is perfect: right next to the historic center and the beautiful old town, yet situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The hotel itself is a charming historical building, lovingly decorated with photographs, furniture, and memorabilia from Imperial Austria, creating a unique atmosphere that reflects the history and character of the country. What made our stay truly exceptional, however, were the two ladies at the hotel. Their kindness, hospitality, and willingness to help with every detail made us feel less like hotel guests and more like personal guests in their home. Their warmth and genuine care created an experience that is increasingly rare to find. I wholeheartedly recommend Cityhotel Ratheiser to anyone visiting Klagenfurt—not only for its excellent location and beautiful historic character, but for the wonderful hospitality that makes a stay there truly special.

Numurā nav ne dzeramā ūdens, ne tējas. Telefonu jālādē vannasistabā, jo tur ir četras rozetes, guļamistabā - nevienas.

A wonderful hotel with a truly unique atmosphere. It felt like more than just a hotel—it was like staying inside a museum, full of beauty and character. The staff were very, very nice, welcoming, and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

I would say the breakfast could be better. On some days, the selection was limited, with mainly pork salami available. Also, croissants were not available every day—some days they were there, and some days they were not. More variety would make the breakfast better.

Dieses Hotel ist schon ein sehr altes oder meines Erachtens schon ein nahezu historisches Gebäude! Mir persönlich gefällt es sehr gut wenn es noch solche traditionelle Unterkünfte gibt, und nicht immer alles modernisiert wird! Die Besitzerin war sehr bemüht und sehr freundlich preis-Leistungsverhältnis war top Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten! Zu Fuß ins Zentrum sind es nur ein paar Minuten und zum Strandbad mit dem Fahrrad brauchten wir 17 Minuten! Wir verbleiben 3 Nächte! unser Zimmer hatte zwar keine besondere Aussicht, aber für unseren Zweck war es vollkommen ausreichend und es gab sogar extra eine kleine Küche die mit dem notwendigsten ausgestattet war! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hostess is so lovely. Room was cleaned every day.
