The Tors

Very friendly staff in a beautiful location, right on the edge of the moors. Comfortable beds and excellent food. The breakfasts were good but the dinners were outstanding.

The one downside of our stay was that the bedrooms are directly above the kitchen, and the smell of fry oil seeps up into the rooms. Opening the windows just makes it worse as the smell comes out of the ventelator and straight up through the window.

Evening meals were very good. Breakfast limited if you didn't want a full fry.

Only one bed side cabinet and one light. Difficult to read in bed. Sink in bed room not in en-suite. Hanging space limited, no wardrobes. Nowhere to put belongings besides clothes.

Very dog friendly, and fantastic location, but human comfort also catered for.

Faint smell of cooking oil as my room was just above the kitchen.

Wonderful location, excellent pub food for dinner and a superb breakfast, Super friendly owner and staff and just a fabulous experience all round. We travelled as a family of four with two rooms and had a wonderful stay.

Delicious breakfast and very friendly waitress to make our coffee and take our orders. Radiator on to make our room warm and cosy.
