Hotel Orphée - Kleines Haus

The decor of the room.

The heating was not working, and the temperature was really low, causing me a cold, that will be treated in the next days. The workers were not polite on the check in and check out. The breakfast at the restaurant serves old food. The waiter at the restaurant was unprepared to deal with humans.

Perfect location at the center of Regensburg. Pretty, clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast is nice.

There's no AC in the rooms. Toiletries aren't great. If you leave the room after noon, there's no cleaning service.

The room was lovely in a shabby chic sort of way. Both bedroom and bath were spacious. BUT the Kleines Haus lacks an elevator. I’m a fit 75 year old and humping my luggage up 2 flights of stairs was exhausting.

Although the hotel indicates that it has an elevator—and indeed the hotel does—the annex, Kleines Haus, lacks an elevator. I wish that had been made clear because humping my luggage up 2 long, treacherous flights was exhausting. The room, however, was nice but lacked air conditioning and heating. Breakfast was meager: lots of bread a commutative postage stamp on quiche, coffee by the cup and a long time coming.

Our first floor room was in the hotel annex (Kleines House) a short walk from the main hotel and restaurant. The room was large and comfortable and tastefully furnished. The separate bathroom was spacious and well equipped with lots of hot water. Our quiet room had a pleasant outlook and was adjacent to a common sitting area with access to a large balcony - a great spot for reading and relaxing outside of your own room. Breakfast was served in the main hotel's restaurant - a generous continental breakfast of breads, cheese and ham, and juice/coffee/tea. Centrally located in the old town and easy walking to the Danube and local attractions.

The place was class. It was out of a parsian movie set. We were the lucky actors to take part in this gorgeous setting.

Location perfect. Restaurant excellent - tremendous coq au vin.

Lift in main hotel but not in Kleines Haus. I missed that.

Lovely room with complementary water and wine. Nice breakfast at the main house.
