the room wasn’t clean, the bathroom was smelly. I went to have a shower in the small bathroom and the water came out brown. later on when going to wash my hands, the water from the tap came out practically black, I was horrified. it cleared a little but still came out a light brown, I couldn’t feel clean. the door locks didn’t feel safe and we didn’t feel safe in the location in general. we were aware that this island isn’t touristic but we felt very unsafe on many occasions. the bike we hired from the stay was nearly falling apart, making our exploring always a worry. we had dinner downstairs at the cafe as we couldn’t find anywhere near by for food- we ordered the noodles and we couldn’t believe what we were served, my partner and I finished them in 3 mouthfuls, I wish I was exaggerating. they weren’t even cheap! we booked two nights and after the first we left ASAP, we moved onto Oro beach houses-we couldn’t recommended this enough, they were an utter life saver
