Vue incroyable sur la campagne de Yogyakarta, piscine au bord de la chambre, personnel adorable et attentionné, petit déjeuner royal (nous avons même eu droit à une version à emporter pour notre train). Peu de choses à redire, ce fut un séjour parfait.

Had a wonderful stay—thanks to the warm hospitality and stunning rice field view. Mas Hisyam, the villa manager, was hands down the most genuine host we’ve ever met. From helping us take photos at check-in to setting up our takeaway dinner in the villa’s dining hall, he made everything feel personal and thoughtful. He even greeted us all by name—something you rarely get at hotels. He helped prep breakfast boxes for our early start one day too. Wish we got to say goodbye properly—he truly made the stay feel like home. The villa’s in a peaceful spot off the main road but still close to town. A few food gems nearby—Lemah Abang is great for local breakfast & coffee vibes, and Ayam Goreng Cemplung is just a short drive away. The rooms open right into the infinity pool, which has amazing views in the morning and late afternoon. Nice touch letting guests enjoy all the snacks and drinks in the room, plus extra water beyond the allowance.

A few small areas of the villa could use some light touch-ups—like slightly loose toilet bowls in two rooms, a stiff patio door in one, and weathered wood panels above the pool. Some walls also have minor cracks and peeling paint. The provided soap and shampoo had a strong, unusual scent, and even after switching, we ended up buying our own. Breakfast kueh was lovely—our kids especially liked the lumpia—but the mains could be improved. The nasi goreng was a bit salty, the soto ayam used unfamiliar spices, and the mie Jawa was okay. Minor things overall, but worth refining to make an already great stay even better.

Great location outside the city. Very stylish, clean, great views and pool access. Super friendly staff. We arrived very late and staff was very accommodating, fixing us a snack, just wonderful. Very good breakfast, especially the pineapple pancakes mhhhh.

It was mentioned before that the pool is heavily chlorinated. I usually don’t mind but I agree this needs some adjustment because like this it is not so enjoyable to swim in it. Also during the day the sun shines very strong on the terraces so it would be nice if there was at least one umbrella for some shade, not just a decorative one. Dinner options could be improved since it is quite far to a decent restaurant.

Small, boutique style place, very friendly staff

What an amazing venue and lovely, altruistic staff. Food was generally outstanding and well catered. And the place was absolutely spotless. Nice and calm location close to the city. Free water, juice, some soda and snacks on a daily basis.

Given the country's predominant religion being Islam, expect the mosques to be chanting several times a day including early in the morning before sunrise. Several mosques are well within ear's range so bring earplugs if that's not your thing.
