Family Hotel Zhelkovi - Olympia

Located near the town centre, with an excellent bar within 250m which shows Premier League football. Ideal location if you’re aiming to get across the Bulgaria / Turkey border early in the morning, as the hotel is close to the border (20 minute drive). The hotel also offers a really big swimming pool 🏊, although unfortunately it was raining the day that we arrived and we were only doing an overnight stay.

Pillows weren’t great. I wish all hotels would provide decent pillows and ensure that there are 4 pillows provided for a double room.

The Lady that runs the hotel was very friendly,and extremely helpful. The hotel was very clean and well looked after. Local shops and restaurants were nearby. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the area.

Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed for maintenance at the time of my visit.

The room are very clean, good temperature and lightening, the beds are comfortable. There is big terrace with table, chairs and clothes drying space. We have all we need for our stay. Place was quite and beauty. The hosts are polite and helpful. Communication is easy.
