Stay View Ikaho

The view! I did not expect to have a good view when I booked this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my window in the morning and found a great view of the mountain and the Ikaho stone steps! Lovely! The staff are nice, too. They do not speak English and use Google translae to communciate with me, but it's okay, they are warm and they try to answer my questions and requests as best as they can. The location is great, too. It is just a minute walk from the Ikaho stone steps, and right across Lawson, which is great when I was craving for a late dinner or snack.

There is always nobody manning the reception, need to contact them if you need anything. But this is a minor issue for me.

Beautiful mountain views and great location in the heart of Ikaho

Stay View Ikaho was an extremely comfortable, clean and spacious stay for two in the heart of the famous Ikaho onsen town. If you want to explore Ikaho and surrounding mountains I can’t recommend this accommodation more highly. Check in / out was smooth, view was stunning, was very quiet and beds were very comfortable. Parking was free and always available throughout our stay.

No complaints, however if you are looking for a Ryokan experience this is not that, just simple accommodation.
