Fabulous location, pleasant room, easy parking.

The food was disappointing, at both dinner and breakfast. On both occasions there was nobody easily available to ask to resolve issues. I was also surprised that there was no wine/drinks list.

The location on Loch Sunart is unbeatable with a wonderful view on the sea from front facing rooms. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great with good cooked breakfast options and plenty of fresh fruit. The beds were comfortable. The Bothy Bar is a convenient restaurant with a good pub standard menu, and very reasonably priced.

The bedroom we had was a bit dated in terms of decoration with a lack of space for sitting out and with intermittent heating. The bathroom facilities were clean but in need of modernisation for the price being paid.

The Strontian Hotel is in a stunning location, our room overlooked the Loch and I watched a heron fishing for his breakfast as the morning mist lifted. The room was cosy with an enormous, comfy bed. We had a very tasty, evening meal, and service was excellent. The breakfast too was excellent, with lots of choice. The staff were very professional and always willing to help,
