Location and ambience.Staff lovely

Shower low water and didn't drain away very quickly.

The staff was awesome. Fantastic location and nice, clean rooms. Great restaurant. Very comfortable.

Twin beds not that comfy

The room was just thrown together. The bed was awful very uncomfortable, dipped and rolled into middle.

The small single (with skylight window) was actually grand. Nice bathrobe and separate shared bathroom downstairs was always spotless. Excellent value incl breakfast. Being dog friendly is a huge +.

Room okay but internal o windows and air gilter was very very noisy. Shared bathroom was down a very steep stairs, bathrobe provided was unusable as too small. No towel left in shared bathroom to wipe hands do had to bring towel up and down. Floor was exceptionally slipper when wet. A bathmat left in the room would be helpful and could be changed daily. Floors creak a lot so lots of noise. Staff were nice but I often felt invisible as an older solo woman. Tables were not wiped down properly in the mornings. Breakfast was good although small jugs for use for milk for tea drinkers needed.

The sheets were crisp and clean and the bed was comfortable. The food was good the staff were friendly.

The room was no way a double, no room much either side of the bed and nowhere to put our two cases.The door to the corridor was not a wooden door it was a hardboard door which didn’t fit properly..the curtains wouldn’t close I had to do a re string. The bedside shelves weren’t big enough for anything other than the lamps on them..The walls were thin we could hear other guests. Vinyl floor- no rugs for warmth. No heated towel rail. the towel rail that was there was rusty. No bath mat. By the time we took all this in no staff in our section. Why didn’t we complain we should have done but I didn’t want to spoil my holiday haven’t to sort out problems. fortunately we had only booked for two nights. This was not a cheap room a rip off.
