Cretan Renaissance

Una vista dal balcone davvero da film! La stanza era impeccabilmente pulita e dotata di ogni comfort: due poggia valigie, phon, stendino per i costumi, teli mare e prodotti da bagno di qualità eccellente. Un ringraziamento speciale a Elena, che con la sua disponibilità e i suoi preziosi consigli ha reso il nostro soggiorno a Creta ancora più indimenticabile. Ottima anche la colazione, con la possibilità di ricevere una comoda breakfast box nei giorni in cui abbiamo deciso di partire presto per le escursioni

L’unico aspetto migliorabile riguarda la breakfast box senza glutine, che risultava meno assortita rispetto a quella standard

Die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, Sauberkeit, exzellentes und vielfältiges Frühstück der obersten Qualität, Lage direkt am Hafen, Service und Dienstleistungen zuverlässig und sehr professionell. Die Küche des Restaurants „Arismari“ (direkt neben dem Hotel) hat eine ausgezeichnete Küche, die mindestens ein Michelin-Stern verdient! Eine der besten Küchen in Chania Raum, chaniotische und kretanische Produkte anbieten.

Great location, amazing room (the decoration, the room, the bath, the bed, everything was great!) and very tasty breakfast! Everyone was very polite and friendly! Amazing location!

It was a very filling breakfast as you could choose from an a la carte menu plus the extra bread, drinks and dessert they add to your main brunch time meal. I can see why they serve the “breakfast” a bit later than your standard 7-10am because you could probably skip lunch if you have a long road trip to follow.

It is a renaissance building so only stairs.

The room was large, but a little overdone . . . a wolf dressed up in sheeps clothing. The beds and pillows were hard, but the room had a perfect view over the small harbour. Breakfast was included from from the restaurant below, although we weren't too keen on what was offered.

Amazing location in the Old Town. Each room was individually decorated and named after a famous female. Our room had a gorgeous Venetian fireplace, and the widows opened to a courtyard view. The room was spacious with a small table and chairs in the foyer, with tea coffee facilities and a welcome bottle of wine, and a spacious bathroom with a huge bathtub. A very comfortable bed and AC. Close to everything and lovely breakfast in the restaurant downstairs.

The bathroom was amazing with a gorgeous bath, as I prefer a shower without a curtain the water splashes the sink and floor. It was not a huge problem. I just felt guilty using an additional towel to clean up the water. Being in a heritage listed building, there are stairs to the room and 4 stairs up to the bedroom, but it is worth it.

The customer service and location was great. Elena from the front desk contacted us prior to our arrival and helped us have a smooth and easy check in process. She also helped us book car and explore the beautiful Crete. The location is amazing. There are numerous restaurants just at the door and despite being in a bush and lively area, the rooms were quiet.

The water from shower would flood the bathroom floor. Due to the building being an old one, there are no lifts. This is mainly a heads up rather than a negative comment. Our room was only a few stairs up and we didn’t have much difficulty carrying our luggage
