Hotel Sol del Estadio

We arrived and we were told that we could not stay in the hotel. Then we stayed at med colombia which was one of the worst eyperiences that I had in my life. The room was directly at the main street and the window did not shut properly so we could not sleep at all. Please avoid this Hotels.

The price was very inexpensive, the staff were helpful & the shower had hot water (though it was set on some kind of timer as the hot water shut off completely after 5 or 10 minutes). I think the staff also retrieved my passport and put it with my suitcase (I'm actually not 100% certain what the chain of events were that led to my passport being on top of my suitcase in the luggage room. But in any case, I am very very grateful).

The pillows were really weird. It felt & sounded like someone had stuffed pillow cases with like, plastic bags or something? The WIFI was terrible.

Everything was great. The hotel isn't too far from the metro and close to Estadio where there are a lot of restaurants, bars and nightlife. The shower is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Everything was fine for me

The staff were the best thing about this hotel, ultra friendly and helpful, talkative and pleasant. The location is fairly good, a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (Suramericana). The beds and shower were okay, for the price I cannot complain. The room could get a little hot at night, there is a fan but when there’s more than one person this can be a small problem. The only major issue was the noise at night. There is a club close by and on Friday and Saturday night it is in full swing; very loud and goes on until the early hours of the morning. I would 100% bring earplugs with you if you decide to stay here, and good ones at that. Apart from that everything was fine, but the noise was a big issue I have to say.
