The Soul Stroll Cottages Retreat

Had a fabulous and absolutely amazing experience, staying with family at the Soul Stroll Cottages. Their cottages are beautiful, impeccably designed and very well maintained. The location is convenient and the view is to die for. When the weather clears up and it has snowed in the upper Himalyas, you get an amazing view of snow covered peaks, from your cottage. We opted for the A shaped cottage and hoping to try their dome the next time we visit. The hosts (Kshitish and Ishant) are very warm. They took out time to interact with us, understood our schedule and recommended local sites for us to visit and things to do. They also helped us with exploring some great cafe's in the vicinity. The kitchen and housekeeping staff was excellent too. We opted to have our major meals at their cafe/room service and much to our pleasant surprise, they customised dishes to our liking and were always prompt in their service. A must stay at if you plan to visit Mukteshwar, highly recommended.

Soul stroll literally made my soul stroll freely and my soul wasn't ready to leave that place .... the weather and nature are paid actor for your soul stroll and the ambience ..the paintings i guess thats made by you ... everything was so satisfying that i cannot even describe my experience in words ... i have never tried cottage stay before and this would be my first one and the best one .... We felt genuinely cared for, thanks to the thoughtful gestures and attention from our hosts. Being nestled in such a serene environment made our stay incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating.The decor was beautifully curated, creating a perfect blend of modern comfort and rustic charm

You can't have a single thing which u wont like there

Good service, good view and aesthetic cottages. The place is like an Airbnb and very personalised. Did not want a typical hotel, did not get a typical hotel. The owners are humble and very nice to talk to.

Only the dome cottage has a jacuzzi. It would be nice to have jacuzzi bathtubs in the A frame cottages too.

My stay at the Unidome was welcomed by GREEN surroundings. The Unidome is surrounded by farming crops in 3 directions and a cliff view at one side. The staff is exceptionally helpful and were helping us outdoors even during rains. The food served is fresh and tastes comforting. The stay is not meant for people looking for a stay in a 5 star hotel. It is meant for people seeking a unique European experience. It is a beautifully run private property. The balcony is huge and offers an exceptional view of the Himalayas. The attic space upstairs is a small space but its use is understood at night when you get to gaze at the stars or clouds in the morning. The jacuzzi is much bigger than any private jacuzzi I have seen in the mountains and suitable for 2 adults. I personally liked the private bonfire space to sit and read my book. All in all, I had a great experience. The place is run by a traveller couple and they were kind enough to gift me and my wife a cake and surprise decoration for our wedding anniversary.

The entry to the entire property is through a small gate from the backside. It sort of feels small and weird for such a spread out property. However, no negative marks for it since everything else at Soul is soulful.

Unique experience. Booked the jacuzzi stay for the second day and liked it more than my first cottage (A-frame Log cabin). There is also a significant price difference in both. Spent most of my time in their jacuzzi space since it has a view of snow clad mountains. Went there to relax and did that very well. The staff took us for a nice forest hike on the second day. Very knowledgeable people. They are good at warm Pahadi hospitality. Don't expect a Taj hotel but expect real warm people who will be available to address anything and everything. Lucky & Bhaskar are very soft spoken and hard working staff. The owner keeps playing guitar at a corner in the property which adds a nice vibe to the place. Speaking of which it seems like we are in some movie, Might just make me move to the mountains.

The food is okayish. It is fresh, some ingredients were plucked from the farms next to our cottage but is not masaledaar desi food. Would be lovely to have a swing or a rocking chair at the property to spend so much of time.

The Location was awesome & the entire property was also excellent. A must visit place with the clear Himalayan range view with a cup of tea in the balcony....what a view & also great food as well.
