The personal is super nice, the hotel is out of the center. The most unpleasant was the kitchen . In the evenings the smell of burning was all over the hotel. Although the food was very tasty it was being cooked veeeeery slow. Other than that, good hotel if you’re coming for tenis tournaments.

They have gym. For me it's advantage

Guy on reception asked me what time I would like warm food for breakfast. Agreed 7.30. When i came 7.29, I found plate already on table and food was already cold. Guys, why you asking if you are unable to provide warm food at the agreed time? To hard pillow. Please be noted if you stay here on winter - extremely cold in shower, super cold floor, no some extra heater or something. I left hot water on for 10-15 min. before wash. Finaly - price - one of the worst price-quality ratios. I know exemplary hotel in Riga, it means in capital city, for 20-30% cheaper than Vilarhotel in Aizkraukle, it means in province

Receptionists sometimes hard to find and didn't unlock doors until 7am The beds are very cheap and the pillows are single tiny and lumpy, although we did manage to get another pillow on the second night which improved it. One room smelled badly of drains, the other room sink was cracked. This is a very basic hotel and you can stay at much nicer in Riga for this price - very over priced for what it is. Other travellers pointed out this is primary to host contestants of tennis tournaments One restaurant option which was passable The spa - we paid €45 to use facilities and were quite unhappy to find that half of it was turned off. The hot tub area of the pool was cold, the pool was missing plenty of tiles. And no steam room was switched on. Surely if half of the facilities are closed it should be half price? Also in Riga spa access is complementary. This made this hotel more expensive than the Radisson Blu. Overall if you are a western traveller this is close to staying in a hostel at a premium price
