"I had a very enjoyable 2-night stay at Laird's House and this has become my accommodation of choice."

The location was excellent for me as I was visiting family and friends in the town. The food was excellent. The staff very friendly and helpful, and the room clean with a good view.

For me, the room lacked a writing desk and chair, though I appreciate that space wouldn't have easily facilitated this.

Room decor was quirky and the huge windows had a great view and sunset. Nice food and down to earth service.

No shower door so i felt i was soaking the bathroom floor for no reason. Chairs in bar eating area quite uncomfortable and wrong height for table.
