I recommend the Cafe Chatterbox nextdoor to Number 8! Great products and service and on top of that social engagement.

Alles was keurig netjes schoon, duidelijke instructies. Airco werd zeer gewaardeerd.

Het parkeren ging niet gelijk goed maar dat was een kleine miscommunicatie en uiteindelijk goedgekomen, dus eigenlijk niets dat tegenviel

This was such a great find. We loved it! It's in a great location, close to the city centre but still quiet. Clean, comfortable room. Easy to access (the host will provide codes). Given that it was a rather hot day, the portable air-con and the fans provide were a great touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Really loved our stay! Check in was so easy with the codes. Bed was so comfortable! Had everything we needed for a short stay. So clean and tidy. Lovely little street and very central to the main town. Very quiet area even on a friday night, didn't hear any noise from the street.

Location for center of Canterbury was good.

Tiny room AC did not work well warning label sent day before we arrived with passcodes and telling us it was a family run business and not to contact after 10 PM unless an emergency. Irrelevant and who cares if family run business? Total put off

The property was really central location and easy to access Canterbury

There was a stained white dressing gown which was a bit gross apart from that it was very good

The location was great. Away from the crowds but close to High Street and the cathedral. It was clean, very comfortable and well equipped. There is a washer dryer and a larger kitchen downstairs for common use but the apartment has a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee machine and kettle. There were lots of good restaurants nearby. We were delighted to be next to The Chatterbox Cafe, a community non profit restaurant with lovely food very reasonably priced. And with a great patio. We ate breakfast there all 3 days. I sprained my ankle our first day there and The Chatterbox provided several rounds of ice for it which helped a huge amount. Our apartment was joyfully on the main floor.

The only thing different we would have liked was more horizontal surface room to store clothes out of the suitcases. Since we stayed only 3 days it was easy to live out of the suitcases.

On the website it said there was parking but after booking we were told it’s not on site. We were instructed to give our car rego 24 hours before arrival to get discounted parking, only we weren’t even in the country yet so didn’t have a rego number. We never found the car park suggested and we found the instructions a bit confusing.
