As stated before don’t be put off by appearance. Lovely receptionist. Very clean. Comfortable bed.Good breakfast. Outside seating on terrace for a drink.

Very nice quiet location, large refurbished (or newish) room. Very friendly manager recommended a nearby walk for the dog along a quiet canal, which was lovely. Nice restaurant food good value for money.

Only small downside - no coffee or tea making facility in the room.

We were cycling and knew the hotel which was an ideal stop for our route

The outside of the hotel looks more tired each time we have stayed and is off putting. Some investment is needed!
