Rosy Villa Hotel

Based on positive reviews in other websites, we wanted to try this newly built structure. All the compliments are well deserved, we would come back with pleasure! We really enjoyed our stay in this small hotel (12 rooms) in a very quiet place of the tiny Guraidhoo island (10 min walking to go from one side to the other, so nice!) Well maintained, the rooms are big, clean, pleasant with AC and fan, the balcony was really appreciated and the bed is super confortable! And there is nice swimming pool too! Then the restaurant... the chef Sudesh is just excellent!! He’s super creative, he adapts to our requests, you can feel he cooks with love and passion... and having visited other restaurants in Male and in Guraidhoo, the best dishes we could taste! The breakfast was also very good to please all tastes. A big thank you to Churi our waiter and receptionist who was also taking care of everything to make our stay just perfect! And finally a big up to the owner Hassan who is looking after your confort and satisfaction at any time, organising a special dinner for Christmas at no charge for all guests to make this special moment unforgettable and also coordinating with his brother the excursions to awesome places (his brother knows all spots very well!)

I would like to say a BIG thank you to the owner of this place. Hassan (owner) made my dreams come true, obviously also my soon to be husband because he chose this place. We came here after one week spent in 5* resort. To be honest I was little bit afraid of this island and this place but everything (people, food, hotel and the activites) was above my expectation. Villa: everything very clean and tidy, bed was very comfy, the aircondition was quiet and was working good, wifi (you will not need) working ok, rooftop terrace, nice pool Breakfast: egg omelete or eggs as you wish, toasts, local fruits, local breakfast - everything so tasty! You can add extra sausages, chapaty, whatever you wish :) Staff: mostly people from India, working hard and doing their best The owner was born in this island and he will educate you about everything you wanna know: local people, food, religion and about real maldivian life! Location: Rosy Villa is located in the middle of the island, 7 minutes from bikiny beach, 5 minutes from the port, anyway everything is near on this small island Unfortunately the mosque is located next to the villa so you will hear some praying at 5 am every day but you won’t escape from this anyway because the island is so tiny and you will hear the praying from every corner when they start it. You can get to this island from Male Airport or from Male city. Please, mind that it is not possible to drink alcohol and be dressed like you are going to have some party time. Maldivians are ortodox muslims and you can really feel it when you will be in this local island. You can wear you bikiny while you will be at the villa and on the bikiny beach. Otherwise you can wear regular dress, shorts, T-shirst. If you desire to have some drinks, ask the owner of the villa to get you to the party boat. Experiences: Ok. The main point is that nothing is impossible here. I asked for so many things and I got them. Hassan (the owner) knows everybody from this island so there is no problem to manage anything you wish. Night snorkeling, swimming with mantas, feeding sharks, amazing snorkeling reefs, turtles reef, jet ski, other water sports, diving and everything for reasonable prices Every guid that was doing some activity with us is a close friend of the owner of the villa. They always did their best and it wasn’t only about to take some money. This is Maldives! Extra: We were invited for complimentary goodbye dinner. Amazing traditional Maldivian cuisine. (Very spicy) You can ask for late check out, for 150 dollars is also possible to get a speed boat and go back to Male Airport according to your flight and needs.
