Very comfortable bed, nicely decorated, roomy. The grounds are very attractive with beautiful flowers.

Darker drapes would help block light.

Location was great. Hotel was adequate and probably one of the nicer places in Cooke City. But......

Of the 5 hotels we stayed at on our vacation in various locations, this was the most expensive. But it was definitely not the nicest. Other places we stayed at were much cheaper, but so much nicer. At the price we paid I would expect a little better. At least throw in a free breakfast or something. I understand Cooke City is very limited in choice, and this fact, along with being next to Yellowstone, allows them to charge much more, but still, price to value is not appropriate. Having said that though, if I ever go to Cooke City again, I would probably stay there again as Cooke City itself is very limited in what they can provide.

The location was good and as close as possible to mother nature

There was no one to manage the property after 8:30 pm. The door lock was so poor that we got stuck outside for almost an hour and there was no one in the property management company nor any one reachable by phone to help us out leaving us outside in the cold weather for a long time.

Friendly staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Clean. Comfortable bed.

Only negative was very slow internet. Download speeds were serviceable, but upload speeds were bad. Slow was still better than nothing which was the case in most of Yellowstone.

If you’re looking for a rustic resort near Yellowstone, with little traffic, and all the feel of home, this is it! Friendly staff, comfortable rooms & very clean. Beds very comfortable!

Small town atmosphere and close to the best area for Yellowstone NP wildlife viewing.

I was here the week before Memorial day when most eating establishments were still closed.
