The Lodge

The Room was excellent. There was a Fan to keep the air circulating on a very hot day/night. Breakfast very tasty and Staff attentive. We had a great evening in the Garden with a few drinks and dinner

Room very comfortable although windows didn’t open. Veluxes helped in the very hot weather. Great shower. Breakfast was very good and good value. Dinner a bit disappointing with some dishes unavailable.

room was OK smallish but adequate we thought we had booked breakfast (as the price was on the high side) but we had not, smallish car park which filled up by early afternoon no lifts to upper floor, no refrigerator in the room.

Rooms well furnished and lovely walk in shower. Good quality breakfast and lovely attentive staff.

Hottest day for years, but no bottled water in the rooms. The coal bunker was lovely, but the fan was directly over the bed and this combined with the low ceiling made the air movement feel uncomfortable.

Location. Quality of service. Rooms b was large with a great sea view.

We stayed in the Loft Suite. This room is not suitably for anyone over 5’10”. The roof rafters are very low. The tea/ coffee making “room” has a shelf above it which is completely unusable, and you have to be in your knees to make tea/coffee. Everything was overly expensive.
