It was great to be able to reach the beach in just one minute and enjoy a very picturesque quiet place. Also, the silence and stars at night were literally something out of this world!

It would be great to have softer matrasses and to have the floor cleaned every 3 days (we stayed for 5 nights and the floor was pretty dirty with sand)

Great location, close the famous Beach Tholos and many archeological sites and surrounded by tourist attractions. The restaurant downstairs offers tasty traditional dinner options and wooden oven pizza!

Coffee machine in the restaurant was broken, so the breakfast was gathered elsewhere. Also the fridge is very old and scary, so don't count on any sort of kitchen in the room.

Great value and very beautiful location with a sea view. Modest accommodations but quite beautiful and good location. Kavousi village is a great place to chill and enjoy authentic Crete there’s not many tourists there. I would definitely come back

Nothing it was great

Located off the main road and surrounded by olive trees, so it is quiet and has its charms.

The shower curtain was about 20cm too short and so water splashed all over the bathroom floor.

Very quiet and peaceful

Very quiet. No one bothers you unless when being helpful to your requests. Absolute silence ...you can fully relax. There is a dining area .. you can see foid being cooked in the wood burning oven.

No complaints.

The room we stayed in had everything as expected. Our room had nice views and the hosts were very helpful. It’s a 15min walk to the village where you can find a couple of cafes/restaurants. Tholos Beach was one of the nicest beaches of our stay, so the location is superb, especially if you prefer peace and quiet away from the touristy spots. We really feel like we got an authentic Cretan experience staying here.

The mattresses on the beds felt like they could be in need of an upgrade, but other than that everything was perfect.
