Tom's house

Staff were very helpful. Rooms were spotless clean, and very quiet. Lovely going to sleep with the sounds of birds and jungle, and rooms are at the back of the property so don't hear the road traffic noise. Great sleep if you like an extra firm mattress. Ask the staff to point you in the direction of the 1km river walkway and check out the Thai hotpot and BBQ at the restaurant by the river on the other side of the highway from the hotel!

It had all we needed for one night and was clean. The staff were very helpful and there was access to communal tea,coffee,toast and jam.

The bed was very hard, I had to add a few towels for extra padding.

Large clean rooms with balcony at a cheap price. Exactly what we needed for a stopover in Khuraburi on the way to the Surin Islands. Close to restaurants, ATM, etc.

We thought from the pics and booking that breakfast was included but there was only coffee and toast available.

Basic, but clean and as described. Tom and Am were very friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave luggage and providing a taxi service. Perfect base for a trip to the Surin Islands

Thai style firm beds!

The staff were nice and friendly. Very helpful. The room was clean and the shower was hot. A small car park at the back of the hotel was just about accessible. The room was very quiet with no noise from other rooms. If it's just a place to sleep, then it's okay.

No wifi in the first room I stayed but moved and the second room had WiFi. Breakfast was completely do it yourself with bread for toasting and was a gas hob and toaster along the side of the roadway in. Nowhere to sit down. No tea bags so a good thing I had my own. The bed was very hard and it did contribute to a back problem that occurred. No kettle in the room or drink making facilities. All in all this is a budget hotel and is a stepping-stone for trips elsewhere.

This was the second time we have stayed here, good honest accomodation with the added bonus that Tom and Am will book your entire trip to the Surin Island - they are good honest people who have a great reputation and quite rightly so. We would definately stay here again.

We spent 2 nights here either side of our trip to Surin Islands. It's a great place to stay - our room was super clean with a good bed, aircon, fridge and a good shower. There is drinking water and kettle downstairs as well as toast and eggs for breakfast. There is also a small swimming pool although we just didn't have time to try it out. Tom and Am are so kind and friendly and will organise your trip to the Surin Islands including hire of tents that are cheaper than the government ones - we got one opening directly to the beach which was fabulous. And they will drive you to the boat at no extra charge. We would totally recommend them for a nice stay in Kura Bhuri and to book the Surin Islands through. We would probably stay there for a few days extra next time as Kura Bhuri is a nice town with a good market and a really nice feel to the place. The bus stop is just around the corner.

Tom and An are very welcoming and friendly, the room was very clean and also great value for money. Highly recommend
