Captain's Cabin Resort - Naval Heritage (Swimming Pool)

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel, set in a beautiful and peaceful location. The surroundings are incredibly calming, and the lovely pool was the perfect place to relax. The warm and welcoming family made us feel right at home. The eldest daughter is a truly talented cook – she prepared a delicious meal for us that we won’t soon forget. The lady of the house takes care of everything with genuine kindness and attention to detail, making sure you have everything you need. And the man of the house – the captain – entertained us with one captivating story after another. This is one of those rare places you find yourself dreaming of returning to. Highly recommended!

This family run resort has got the balance just right, each of the 9 en-suite bedrooms is cool, bright, clean, air-conditioned, offer comfortable mattresses and excellent sound proofing, each with either a balcony or terrace - all the ingredients for a good nights sleep and restful days. Accessible and interconnecting rooms available. The pool is inviting and can be enjoyed at anytime. Nestled in a quiet village, a short distance from the vibrant Siti Khadijah Market, street art and culture of KB and close to the airport - a peaceful stop over or destination in itself. You are free to enjoy the grounds and sample fruit and you are welcome to relax in the air-conditioned lounge or take a seat at the table in the outdoor kitchen in the company of other guests and the friendly family. There is parking available if you have your own car or moped, or simply request a ‘Grab’ - the centre of KB or the airport is just 20mins away and Besut Jetty (gateway to the famed Perenthien Islands), just over 1 hour away. Your hosts are happy to help you arrange local activities, a guide/driver, or simply recommend great local restaurants that offer delicious, fresh food - the variety is amazing! You are free to arrange a takeaway and enjoy it at one of the many dining areas or delicious meals can be pre-arranged for an additional charge.

From the staff to the resort owner, everyone was very kind and tolerant. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was provided free of charge for everyone. This resort is perfect for anyone seeking peace and tranquility.
