Holiday Inn Derby/Nottingham by IHG

We did not have breakfast Bathroom was modern and clean with toiletries included. Towels provided. Room had central heating and was well equipped.

Property itself was tired and car park seriously in need of care. Lots of pot holes, large areas of road surface missing making it difficult to avoid areas that could potentially damage the car. The room was not adequately sound proofed meaning that noisy neighbours disturbed sleep.

The shower room was too small

Even though there was a system issue when we first arrived staff still found solutions around it and didn't keep us waiting at check in. Also very helpful when. We requested a. Late. Checkout at 5am

Location

Not enough or insufficient external lighting in car park

Good location just off the M1. Room was clean and tidy (if not a bit small for a double) food was sufficient for price. Was able to take breakfast away with me. Helpful staff. Fast car charging facilities on site.

Only staircase to get to room. Looked run down outside could do with some renovation. Terrible huge potholes in driveway. Not a great choice in menu for evening meals.
