Hotel Restaurant Steenhuyse

All that was needed for a nice, large breakfast. Spacious, luxurious rooms with an exceptional view on the market square and the church. Very beautiful venue. The whole city mansion is opulently and very well decorated. Kind and helpful staff. A boutique hotel +++++.

Air conditioning is the only thing lacking in this gem.

Lovely, spacious apartment with an exceptional view on Oudenaarde city hall. Friendly staff. Great airco! (35degrees Celsius outside, nice and cool inside)

Kitchen equipment was a bit minimal.

The room was spectaculair ! Plenty of space, by far the biggest room we had for a long time. The bath tub had a special place before the windows with s fantastic view over the square of Oudenaarde with the famous cityhall in front of you. The restaurant looked beautifull, unfortunatelly we didn't have the energy for a longer refined dinner after a long bike ride. But by the looks of it is recommendable, as the whole hotel is !

To be honest I think the price for breakfast ( 25 Euro p.p. ! ) was a bit much so we skipped that and had a few nice roll's in town. For us a better solution

Bart on the front desk was super, great location on the market place.

Hard to find the light switch in the basement where we had our bikes stored.

Big room. Central location.

It was a bit weird having a bath and shower open in the middle of the room. People were smoking somewhere and the whole hotel including our room was full of the smell.
