The Railway Hotel

Comfortable bed. Big shower.. clean.

Couldn't find reception. No info given on meal availability. Two people booked in but only one set of cutlery, bowl and plate. Left key in room when departed, there wasn't a key box.

Management allowed 2 other guests to sit in beer garden area , which was in front of all rooms, until 2am drunk and loud and fowl language and then start again when they rose at 6.15 am despite myself and another guest asking them to be quiet and feeling if we pushed to hard our safety was at risk. Frankly I would like a refund

The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful and in a difficult time the car had broken down

All was good. The room we did have was small for two but was ample for our needs at the time .
