"Great service with beautiful views, this is an excellent value for passing through this area!"

Great hosts who were very flexible with our late arrival. Lovely breakfast the next morning on the patio cooked by the couple who owns the property. The views from anywhere on the property were great. The apartments were spacious.

Parking was a little tough getting down a steep and narrow gravel driveway. You might be able to park up on the street instead.

Hermosa vista, buen tamaño de cuarto, ubicación excelente para empezar a subir el Cerro de la Muerte. Excelente atención y generoso desayuno.

No funcionaba el agua caliente. Entrada y salida del parqueo muy empinada y en curva.

Our host was very helpful and we were even offered a laundry service, which was welcome after a week on jungle trails. The room was very clean and comfortable. The view was lovely. Generous breakfast was cooked to order and served on a deck overlooking the valley- gorgeous! We stayed for 3 nights. Location was convenient to town (loved the farmer's market!) and also to several parks and reserves that we wanted to visit.

We really did not have any complaints.

We were there because driving through costa rica, and it is one of the best of our trip. The owner is very welcoming, friendly with tips, a beautiful garden and view and nice comfortable rooms. Temperature at night was perfect with the fan.

"A simple hotel but has everything with a great location. Their gardens are perfect for birding."

Our room this time had a kitchen which wasn't necessary but good to know about this option. Billy and his wife are very nice hosts, the breakfast is excellent. We even had a pair of Golden-hooded Tanagers feeding their babies in a hanging orchid basket on the patio. What a treat!

The road noise from big trucks is annoying, but not something they can control. The hotel isn't on the main road so that helps.

- The location is perfect with a beautiful view of the nearby town, both day and night views are lovely. It is also very quiet due to its location. Perfect for our drive back to San Jose. - Friendly host - Delicious breakfast - Great value for money in Costa Rica
