Amazing!!!

Horrible. Critters in the walls by headboard and in closet, couldn’t sleep. Considered leaving in the middle of the night but didn’t know where to go. No manager on site, Complained next morning and was told no refund. No breakfast as advertised. “Renovation” going on but place was strewn with junk. Had planned to stay 4 nights, left after first one. I had stayed here several times under old management and it was thoroughly delightful. So sad to have lost a gem. This place should not be open.

The hotel was quaintly old-fashioned but not ready for guests. The room I booked had no functioning heater so I had to take another room; there was no private bath, and the bath I had near my room had no hot water in the shower; after I washed my head in the cold water, I wiped up the water and the towel came up almost black - the floor obviously had not been mopped in a long time; the telephone in my room did not work, despite numbers being posted on the wall for the office and outgoing calls.

The room and bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The quality of the mirrors, fixtures and linens were exceptional.

The place has great potential... however, the area for check-in, the patio, and entry to all rooms needs complete renovation - painting, new furniture - particularly on public patio and private balconies/ patios and clean of existing areas that currently look like junk piles. New bed pillows also would be nice, as well as appropriate coffee making products ( the pods given were not appropriate for coffee maker). At some point, windows on the ground floor should be replaced with ones that offer sound-proofing from patio and street noise.

The property is super pretty! It's a bit older in its appearance and amenities but it kinda gives modern Victorian and I was for it! The heaters are not as strong as I would have loved for the weather and the locks aren't necessarily the most strong feeling on the room doors but I loved it regardless and will be going back! BE ADVISED THAT NOT ALL ROOMS HAVE ATTACHED BATHROOMS. BE SURE TO LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND CALL THE PROPERTY IF NEEDED!

Very cute room and good location at an affordable price. Easy to check in and Muffin Mania next door is a nice plus. Staff is helpful and friendly for check in/out.

The mattress in the Roy Rogers room is in awful shape sagging near the head and pushing your feet upward, draining all the blood to your butt. You will wake up sore, guaranteed. No hot water in the shower today which you might miss too. A couple small fixes here would go a long way!

Futon was very uncomfortable

Got in late for check in and they had key in lock box for me.
