"Overall good stay."

Staff are friendly and kind. Having an option for late check out was a huge help as we were waiting for a flight.

Maybe the room wasn’t used recently but it had a smell.

"No complaints - no frills but adequate."

Convenient for the railway station, rugby stadium & town centre but wasn’t busy nor noisy. The bed was very comfortable.

The furniture was a bit shabby - carpet stains, wooden desk chair was scratched. There were splash marks on the bedroom wall.

Hotel and all staff fantastic. Great selection of tv channels, coffee and tea good, clean and a very comfortable bed. I was able to check in a little earlier and payment to hotel was straightforward.

I do not believe the hotel was at fault. I got messages from booking.com about being sent an invoice and any more payments due would be taken after I had checked out and was heading home. Having been advised previously that I could pay at the property which I did I did not expect them to tell me that the hotel wanted the money before I got there. This has never happened before but it was not very pleasant. I phoned the hotel and they reassured me everything was okay.

It’s serviceable.

I have stayed here many times in the past three years. Previously I have been able to check in a little early if they have a room cleaned, without extra charge. This time, no go, as I’m not a silver Accor member. They’ve just lost my regular custom (and apparently couldn’t care less).
