Sanctum Hotel and Dive- Nusa Penida

The bed was nice and the owner was helpful.

The taxi driver the hotel calls for you is the worst. Changes the price during the ride. Also couldn’t shower during the visit because the horrid smell. Smells like something has died as soon as you flush some water. Used bottles during my stay.

Rooms were huge and cheap in comparison to other hotels. Friendly staff

Location was a bit far away which we knew, however we didn't know it was all a steep incline which took walking everywhere out of the equation. Also the staff were very friendly but the lack of English caused a lot of miss comunication when booking taxi and bike rental ect

The location is very good. Near the harbor and the town (restaurants etc), and the boss + one of the staff named Katut is the best! He became more of a friend, and helped us with tips-and-trix for our trip!

One of the staff members that first checked us in, did not bother to clean our room properly when we asked. When we checked in, we got told that the room would be cleaned every day, and that the bedsheets would be changed every four days. But already on the second night, we came home to a room that wasn’t cleaned and loads of dead bugs in our bathroom.. So, we decided to contact the staff member (our contact-person), to ask for a room-cleaning and also if it was possible to change the bedsheets. She said yeas, but when we came back home the third day, after the “cleaning”, our bedsheet was suddenly stained, the bathroom, as well as the toilet, was, even more, full of dead bugs..!! We then decided to contact the CEO and he was great! He immediately changed the staff (our contact-person), and fixed all our problems. We ended up happy, and chose to extend our stay for one more night.
