Orli La Jolla

Loved everything about this place-very peaceful. It was very very clean, safe area, walkable to everything around, and just overall a nice place. Will definitely stay here again when I visit this area. Highly recommend!! Staff (Omar) was so helpful with suggestions on things to do and places to eat.

Enjoyed our 5 night stay at Orli. The hotel is boutique, modern, spotlessly clean and the staff are fantastic. Always ready to help if needed and proactive at asking if there is anything at all they can help with without being intrusive. The area is lovely, easy to get around, easy to park, has many nice walkable eateries and no issues driving in and around all areas of San Diego from the hotel. I’d go back in a heartbeat which isn’t often I could say that and we are well travelled. Well done Orli team, you have a lovely hotel and manage a great experience for your guests.

This is a really nice place to stay, but it's very expensive, so it's important to consider value. The property is lovely and has pleasant indoor and outdoor public rooms. However, there were disappointments given the high cost. Our room was nicely appointed but wasn't very large, and lacked a nice chair to sit in. There was an unattractive small table in the corner, with two chairs. For this price I'd like cable or satellite TV--what a hassle to have to use a streaming TV. The location was very good, almost across the street from the contemporary art museum and a short walk to the main commercial areas.

STAY HERE! Specifically in the penthouse! I am so in love I want to move in! The whole place is GORGEOUS and the room feels like no expense spared! The rooftop and the adjacent indoor lounge area of the penthouse room are the perfect La Jolla vibe and amazing place to spend an afternoon or night! The location is perfect…walking distance to everything in La Jolla! The courtyard happy hour is so cute and intimate. We live less than an hour away but anytime we want a lil staycation we’re coming back here!! So glad we found it!!

I had the most amazing stay! The staff was so kind and the ambiance of the property was everything I could have asked for. I will definitely be back soon and could not recommend this hotel enough! The best experience and in a very walkable location!

This new boutique hotel is amazing! The hotel is located in the beautiful Village of La Jolla, very near the ocean, and across the street from the Modern Museum of Art. The building is a historical landmark, and both the building and the inner courtyard are impeccable. The true experience is once I entered into the inner hotel/rooms. I could tell the hotel was impeccably restored, and no expense was spared. I felt as though I had been transported back to a different time, one of elegance & style. Everything is hand curated from the owners worldwide travels, and the attention to design detail is unbelievable. I stayed in the Conservatory room, and I couldn't stop looking at all the beautiful finishes and how everything flowed. Also, I admit, bathroom products are important to me...which is why I was not surprised they had luxury, organic body products from "Flamingo Estate". Now the good news...the hotel is very high tech. You can choose to see no-one or everyone. The wonderful concierge was a text away for anything I needed. In the mornings, I could choose to have a hand-drip coffee and delicious pastry from a local bakery in the courtyard, or if I desired, anything delivered to my room. My only regret of my time in La Jolla was the third night of my stay I was booked at a different hotel, and all I wanted to do was go back to the Orli...a special, lovely destination!

My wife and came to stay for a few days while house hunting. We enjoyed the quality of the rooms and while it is a "limited service" hotel there was someone there to help us when we had an issue finding out key code. The common area lobby and courtyard were very pleasant and enjoyable to hang out to have a bite and coffee. The location was very close to many of the places we wanted to go. We would not hesitate to come back.

Pleasant on a rare rainy weekend; conscientious and friendly staff; complimentary pastries and a complicated drip coffee ( the concierge will make it for you ) in the morning with free flowing kombucha, cold press coffee and water; comfy bed in an interesting building
